Atomicato
A form that carries the spirit of mid-century modern design into the present. Built one at a time, by me, from raw wood to final setup.

The Atomicato is the first model from Kevin James Guitars. Every instrument begins with carefully chosen materials — a 2-piece solid mahogany body, maple cap, and hard maple neck. CNC ensures precise dimensions, while all shaping, carving, finishing, and setup remain pure handwork. The result is a guitar that sits comfortably against the body, with thoughtful contours and a neck shape that encourages long, effortless playing sessions while delivering rich, responsive tone.

Available in a range of pickup configurations and styles — from warm, vintage-voiced mini-humbuckers to bright, articulate single-coils, and even custom in-house wound sets tailored to the specific guitar — each Atomicato develops its own distinct personality and voice. No two are the same.

Finished instruments are listed individually as they’re completed, each with its own serial number, photos, and detailed specs. When it’s gone, it’s gone.
